Little Stoke Cricket Club have been successful in obtaining grant funding through the ECB / Staffordshire Cricket Board Small Grants Scheme 2018 of £2,750 towards a total project cost of £4,950 for a complete refurbishment of the Club’s main pavilion kitchen.
This will involve removing all of the old kitchen units and work tops and replacing these with new kitchen units, work surfaces and appliances through a grant from the ECB / Staffordshire Cricket Board. The remaining £2,200 will come from the renewed sponsorship of the junior cricket teams by Towergate Insurance. Our thanks for this go to Peter Worthington, Managing Director at Towergate Insurance.
As part of the grant conditions these works will need to be completed by 3rd August 2018. It is hoped to keep disruption during the cricket season to an absolute minimum.
Our thanks also go to Gordon Winfield who helped with the grant application process and has also agreed to install the kitchen on the Club’s behalf, although he would appreciate any assistance from volunteers during the refurbishment process.
This is just another example of how Little Stoke Cricket Club are continuing to improve facilities at the Club for all of its members and supporters.
