Rhys Owens scored a massive 81 not out, off 66 balls, last night, to guide Little Stoke Under 18s through to the next round of the Noel Banks Memorial Cup competition.
Oakamoor scored 121 for 5 off their 20 overs, with wickets for Gregor Beardsmore, James Mountain and Rhys.
Little Stoke then chased down the total, in a close game, after 19.3 overs and with the loss of 6 wickets – with Rhys hitting 8 fours and 3 sixes,including a six to win it in the last over.
