We have another success story to report for the Wildcats. In their final game of the season, home to Caverswall, they won by 42 runs to finish a very creditable third in the table. This included 5 wickets for 9 runs for Alice Beardsmore off 3 overs, who demolished Caverwall’s batting.
Little Stoke batted first, and scored 86 for 1 off 16 overs (their highest net score of 81), with runs for everyone, and Sophie Beech and Alice Gregory scoring net 10+. Caverswall then replied with 69 for 6 wickets (net 39), with Alice Beardsmore taking 5, all bowled, with fast, accurate bowling, and Riley Irving taking the other wicket.
A great way to end the season for the Wildcats, with everyone contributing!!!
