Last week and today there has been a working party replacing the existing nets, which were worn and had many holes.
The main tasks were removing the old green netting, tidying up around the base area to remove overgrown grass, then re-aligning and securing poles and erecting the new black netting. The bulk of the work was completed today, and the result is a great improvement, and already being used by some of our junior cricketers, as you can see from the attached photos.
